The game starts off with the four main children running through the sewers, being chased by Zone 5.1 agents. Evidently, this particular puzzle made it into the beginning of the current game. Jonathan's favorite puzzle in the game would have been one involving the word "Woof", an idea which was inspired by a suggestion by AbbyDrew. At the end of the game, Diz would have been captured, yet again, by Zone 5.1 and subsequently killed. Much like the first idea, production went to nearly a hault after the first room was created. Similar to RT 1, you would have had to try to find a way out of your cell. It takes place 3 or 4 years after the original.
However, pre-2020 episodes still air on adult channels. Since 2020, it has been moving to children's programming.
It would involve, not playing as Phil, but playing as Diz who had been recaptured by Zone 5.1. Under Peppa's Pants is an American animated series that currently airs on The lame channel and Nick Jr., and is produced by 20th Century Wolf Television. This original idea was scrapped for a better idea sparked by one of Jonathan's friends, Mr-Shark (who now goes by Krahs). Jonathan had planned some water level-changing puzzles and had a vague idea for the end of the game involving some beast being electrocuted by a toaster. The sewers didn't get much farther than the first room. In the first version, Riddle Transfer 2 was originally going to involve Phil, Zack, Phred, and Smiley escaping through a sewage system. He also felt a great amount of stress in making this game as he had underestimated the amount of time and effort that would have to go into it in order to make it satisfying for both him and his fans.Ĭome July 4, 2012, with a heavy heart, Jonathan decided to officially cancel Riddle Transfer 2 and the three games he had, at the time, planned to make afterwards. Especially with Jonathan learning a lot about character and game development, he felt the effort of this game wasn't worth the outcome. He felt himself drifting apart from his characters, all of which he had previously thought to be deep and interesting, only to be one-dimensional in reality. As time went on, he found the story of the original game was rather weak and would cause the series to go downhill dramatically. While only about a week was spent being put into creating the story of the series, Jonathan intended to put forth years of work into this game. The original production of this game began shortly after Riddle Transfer. It was published on Newgrounds on May 25, 2016, the date of Riddle School's 10 year anniversary. The creator has a music contract of some kind, meaning the song probably won't be put on Newgrounds again.Riddle Transfer 2 is the final installment in the Riddle School series. Note: Unfortunately, it would appear the music for the puzzle room at the end of the game is no longer online.
Sorry if anyone's confused like I was lol For some reason, those are two separate things. The timer at the end states how many minutes you played, and how many seconds you played. I don't really want to spoil any of the plot twists, settings, or puzzles in this game, so witness for yourself this hopefully climactic point-and-click adventure.Īlso remember that after you beat the game and see your time, you can view the game's Special Features. I was really going to release it tomorrow, but then today felt right. I didn't quite make the deadline, as I finished it today, but I wasn't going to release it the same day as the fourth game anyway. I had the wild idea after making RS4 that I could start and finish RS5 between the first of February and the first of April. No, I'm kidding, I've been working on this for two months. You might want to fit in some time to play it because it takes more than ten minutes to beat, and probably a good bit longer if it's your first time playing.Īfter the many helpful comments I got yesterday when I submitted RS4, I got right to work and finished this in one day.
Sorry about the file size, but this game really is big. This is the longest, craziest, and best game of the entire series.
